Balwen

Balwen sheep, being a Welsh Mountain breed, is very hardy and able to survive on sparse upland grazing and in harsh conditions. The breed are quick and can jump but can be easily bucket trained. Ewes are long lived and can still produce lambs at 10 years old. The breed has very few lambing difficulties, they normally produce single lambs born small and lively.

Flock information

We have a large flock of registered ewes, shearlings and lambs. We have two registered 2017 born rams currently for sale.
