All of our Zwartble, Gotland and Balwen ewes are in lamb all due in April, we will have both ewe lambs and ewe rams for sale in the summer. To continuation with our programme  to protect, increase and promote rare sheep we recently purchased a small flock of Castlemilk Moorits. The flock currently consists of one ram, four ewes (all in lamb ) and two 2014 lambs. The Castlemilk Moorit is a rare breed of domestic sheep  originating in Dumfriesshire in Scotland. At the beginning of November 2014 we introduced 6 ewe lambs to our growing selection of rare breed sheep. We chose to introduce Portlands because even though they were once common all over Dorset, the breed did become one of the rarest in Britain and is still at risk.
